Volleyball Loses in Extras to Dartmouth
Volleyball dropped the final match of the Hartford Invitational on Saturday in a 3-2 loss to Dartmouth. The Blue Devils had four players with double-digit digs and four with double-digit kills.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Blue Devils had a foot on the gas pedal to kick off the match, snapping off an 8-1 run that gave them a comfortable lead. Dartmouth closed the gap some but were unable to come back as CCSU won 25-18.
- CCSU did not let up in the second, but Dartmouth did not either. Both teams exchanged leads through the teens, but the Green took the second set 25-20.
- The Blue Devils played their best ball in the third set. They hit .406 as a team and jumped out to an early 14-5 lead, taking advantage of errors from the Green. They took the third with another 25-18 score.
- Both teams went toe-to-toe again through the fourth set. With their backs against the wall, the Green rattled off a 9-3 run to force a fifth and final set.
- Dartmouth ran up the score to start the final set, but CCSU was able to rally back against the Green. The Blue Devils held the lead at 11-9, but the Green scored the final six points of the match and tournament.

4 CCSU shined on both ends of the court on Saturday. There were four Blue Devils that had 10+ kills in the match (Emma Henderson [11], Isabelle Roufs [14], Nyjha Marcelin [21] and Lauren Milani [10]) while four had 10+ digs (Ashlyn Eisenga [18], Henderson [15], Tori Boulay [15] and Milani [10]). Milani's double-double is the first of her career.
