Volleyball Announces Signing of Six Student Athletes
Central Connecticut Volleyball Head Coach Linda Sagnelli has announced the addition of six student-athletes to join the program in the Fall of 2021. Isabella Bratzke, Kaylin Hadley, Michelle Jung, Lauren Milani, Madison Massaro-Cook and Alexis Neidler will make up the CCSU Class of 2025.
CCSU advanced to the Northeast Conference Tournament championship in 2019, upsetting top-seeded Robert Morris in the semifinals. The Blue Devils finished the season 15-15 after falling to Sacred Heart in the final.

Isabella Bratzke | 5-10 | OH | Kenosha, WI/Indian Trail High School and Academy
Played for coach Ashley Kuehl at Indian Trail High School and Academy...Two-time First Team All-Conference and two-time Second Team All-Conference...SEC Defensive Player of the Year (2019) and SEC Player of the Year (2020)...Two-time All-State Honorable Mention...Newcomer of the Year in 2017...Played club volleyball for Milwaukee Sting and coaches Bruce Meredith and Aly Kujawa.
Sagnelli on Bratzke: "Isabella is a decorated outside hitter, having most recently being named the SEC Conference Player of the Year. She is a talented six-rotation player who will have an immediate impact with our program and bolster our ball control."
Kaylin Hadley | 6-2 | M | Hebron, CT/RHAM
Played for Timothy Guernsey at RHAM High School...First Team All-State...CCC Academic...Two-time All-Conference...Three-time All-Academic Team...MaxPreps/AVCA Player of the Week as a junior...Most Improved Player as a sophomore...Played club for Husky Volleyball Club.
Sagnelli on Hadley: "Kaylin has tons of potential. At 6-2, she has the size, strength and desire to become an impact player for us."
Michelle Jung| 6-1 | MB | Scottsdale, AZ/Sunnyslope
Attended Sunnyslope High School and played for Amber LeTarte...Offensive Player of the Year...First Team All-Region...Region Player of the Year...First Team All-Conference...Played for Lisa Stuck on Revolution Volleyball Academy club team.
Sagnelli on Jung: "Michelle is a great addition to this class. She has a heavy, point-scoring swimg from the middle and will look to make our offense strong."
Madison Massaro-Cook | 5-8 | OH/DS | Newington, CT/Newington
Played for Kelly Andrews at Newington High School...All-Conference...Four-time Academic All-Conference...Four-year starter...Two-year captain...Two-time MVP...Played for Husky Volleyball Club.
Sagnelli on Massaro-Cook: "Madison has a great work ethic on the court and in the classroom. She should be able to fall right in step with the team and elevate her game to the collegiate level."
Lauren Milani | 5-10 | OH | Cranston, RI/Cranston East
