Volleyball Wins Third Straight, Downs St. Francis Brooklyn, 3-0
The Blue Devils travel to Sacred Heart on Friday.
Central Connecticut won its third straight Northeast Conference match with a 3-0 win over St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday. Junior Emma Henderson posted a double-double with 11 kills and 14 digs for the Blue Devils. CCSU plays at Sacred Heart on Friday.

- Central held a 10-5 lead in the opening set before St. Francis scored five unanswered points. Freshman Molly Pincince served four straight points to help CCSU go ahead, 23-16. The Blue Devils took the set on a kill by senior Gala Galabova.
- CCSU took control in the second set, scoring eight straight points with senior Madelyn Kaprelyan serving seven points to go ahead 17-9. Central scored the final three points of the set
- CCSU built a 6-1 lead in the third set and did not trail. A run of seven straight points built the Central lead to 19-9 before kills by junior Samantha McCreath and Kaprelyan ended the match.
