Volleyball Drops Match at Saint Francis
The Central Connecticut volleyball team fell to Saint Francis U on Sunday afternoon in Loretto, PA. The Blue Devils (8-14, 4-6 NEC) will return to action on Saturday in New Britain.

The Red Flash (11-14, 7-4 NEC) won 25-17, 25-22 and 25-21 to take the match.
The Blue Devils were led by junior Makenna Lommori's 15 kills. She attacked 48 times and registered a .125 hitting percentage. Lommori also had six digs.
Senior Rachel Dunlap also posted double-digit kills (10) and was CCSU's top blocker in the match. Dunlap contributed to four blocks in the match. Dunlap also had the top hitting mark for the Blue Devils on the day (.292).
Junior setter Ashley Lenington had 28 assists in the match and also led CCSU with 12 digs.
Senior Brittany Schumacher, sophomores Rachel Fish and Brooke Schwab each had seven digs.
The Red Flash hit .283 in the match and were led by a 17-kill performance by Hannah Kutny. Kutny also led all players with 16 digs.
