The Central Connecticut volleyball team fell to LIU Brooklyn in three sets on Sunday afternoon. The Blue Devils (6-11, 2-3 NEC) return to action on Saturday against Fairleigh Dickinson at Detrick Gymnasium.

The Blue Devils fell 25-20, 25-9 and 25-19 in the three sets.
The Blue Devils were led by 17 kills and 12 digs by junior Makenna Lommori.
Sophomore Brooke Schwab had a strong offensive game with seven kills and just one attack error over 17 total attacks for a .353 hitting percentage. Senior Rachel Dunlap was also efficient in the match with five kills on nine attacks for a .556 hitting mark.
Sophomore libero Rachel Fish tied Lommori for the team-high with 12 digs.
Dunlap led CCSU with two blocks.
LIU posted a .373 hitting percentage for the match, compared to a .186 mark for the Blue Devils.
