Bio

2022:  Played 14 games with 14 starts. She scored three goals this season, two of which were game-winners, tallying six points. McLaughlin was also named to United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's Players to Watch list and the 2022 MAC Hermann Trophy watch list prior to the start of the 2022 season. She was also named 1st Team All-NEC and NEC Midfielder of the Year for the fourth year in a row. She has become the third NEC Student Athlete in history to win a women’s soccer major award in four consecutive seasons. 

2021: All-Northeast Conference First Team…Northeast Conference Midfielder of the Year…United Soccer Coaches All-North Region Second Team…NEWISA All-England First Team...Northeast Conference All-Tournament Team...Started 16 games...Led team with 21 points (9 goals, 3 assists)...Scored six game-winning goals...Scored a goal in five straight games from Oct. 14 to Nov. 7...Recorded a goal and an assist in win over New Hampshire (8/29)...Had a goal and assist in NEC Championship game against FDU (11/7)…Member of Ireland Women’s National Team for World Cup qualifiers.

2020-21: United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Team…United Soccer Coaches All-North Region First Team…Northeast Conference Midfielder of the Year…All-Northeast Conference First Team…Northeast Conference Championship MVP…Tied for team lead with four goals, and added two assists for 10 points…Had a goal and assist in wins at St. Francis Brooklyn (3/9) and against LIU (4/16)…Scored in back-to-back games at Wagner (4/6) and against Bryant (4/9)…Earned call up to Ireland Women’s National Team.

2019: Named NEC Midfielder of the Year…NEC All-Conference First Team Selection…United Soccer Coaches All-North Region First Team…All-ECAC Team…NEWISA All-England First Team...First Blue Devil to be named to the DI Women’s Soccer All-America Second Team...Saw action in 18 games with 17 starts as a sophomore…Named team co-captain…Had a team high 23 points (10g, 3a)…Led the team in scoring with 10 goals…Held a shots on goal percentage of .774…Posted four game-winners on the season and went 2-2 on penalty kicks…Scored four of Central’s 10 goals scored against non-conference opponents…In conference, scored four goals in three matches…Scored the game-winner in the NEC Championship sending Central to the NCAA Tournament for the 10th time in program history…Second in the NEC in points, goals and game-winners…In the nation, ranked 60th in goals per game (0.56), 77th in total goals (10), 88th in points per game and 99th in total points (23).
