Women's Soccer Preview Versus South Florida
The Blue Devils will take on the University of South Florida tomorrow at 3:00 pm in North Carolina.
The Central Connecticut women's soccer team will take on the University of South Florida on Wednesday, April 27 at 3:00 pm in the first round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament. The match will be played at Bryan Park in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Blue Devils are coming off a third straight Northeast Conference Championship in a 4-0 victory over LIU. Four different Blue Devils scored in the match and junior midfielder Roma McLaughlin was named the championship's most valuable player after she scored the game's first goal and added an assist.
CCSU NOTES
CCSU finished the regular season with 19 goals and 16 assists. The Blue Devils allowed just one regular season goal in NEC play this year and have allowed just 10 the past three seasons in NEC play. The team has multiple NCAA top-ten ranks including 7th in the country in scoring offense (2.71 goals per game), 1st in goals-against average (.143), 2nd in shots per game (19.14), and 1st in shots on goal per game (10.71). At home Central has been dominant, going 29-0-3 in its last 32 home games, and haven't lost at home since Sept. 3, 2017. Central swept the six major conference awards, the first time a school accomplished the feat since 2006. CCSU has taken 44 corner kicks, while allowing just 6 to their opponents. Goalkeeper Amanda McQuillan has not allowed a goal in the six games she played. McQuillan has saved all 13 shotS she faced on goal.
USF NOTES
The Bulls finished the regular season at 9-0-2 and won the American Athletic Conference Championship for the second consecutive season. The team scored 22 goals while allowing just 4. The Bulls have shared the ball well, assisting on 18 of the team's 22 goals. South Florida ranks 7th in the country in goals-against average at .350 and comes into the game ranked #15 in the NCAA rankings. This will be the first meeting between CCSU and USF.
