Radford Defeats CCSU 12-7
Radford pulls away in second half.
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game to Radford University, 12-7 at Arute Field in New Britain, CT on Monday.
Senior captain Morgan Sinton led the Blue Devils (0-6) with 2 goals and 2 assists. Radford led 4-3 at halftime, then outscored the Blue Devils 8-4 in the second half.
Juniors Emma Sullivan and Molly Coogan each scored 2 goals for Central, while junior goalie Cooper Cowdin made 7 saves.
Katie Carroll led the Highlanders (3-6) with 3 goals and 1 assist.
