Bryant Tops Women's Lacrosse on Friday Night
Blue Devils are back in action on Thursday at home vs. Mount St. Mary's
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse team fell to 2-10 overall and 0-3 in Northeast Conference play with an 18-7 loss on the road at Bryant University on Friday night. Sophomore Kaitlyn Rapp scored three goals for the Blue Devils in the loss.
Central is back in action at home on Thursday hosting Mount St. Mary's on Arute Field.
On Friday night The Bulldogs built a 13-4 halftime lead to improve to 7-5 overall and 3-0 in league play. Central held the Bulldogs to five second half goals as senior Jackie Branthover tallied 12 saves in the game.
Sophomore Emma Sullivan added a pair of goals an an assist, while senior Carson Adelberger had a goal and an assist in the loss. Junior Molly Coogan added a goal for CCSU.
Central will play their next two games at home, including Thursday vs. Mount St. Mary's at 4 p.m. and Saturday vs. Wagner. The game vs. Wagner will also serve as Senior Day and is the final home game of the season for the Blue Devils.
