Bryant Tops Women's Lacrosse in NEC Opener on Friday Night
CCSU will be back in action at LIU on April 13
The Central Connecticut women's lacrosse team dropped to 1-9 overall on the season and 0-1 in Northeast Conference play after a 22-3 home loss to Bryant University on Friday night. Bryant improves to 6-4 overall and 1-0 in league action with the victory.
The Blue Devils will be back in action on April 13 on the road at LIU Brooklyn.
Central's offense was led by senior Kylie Sullivan and sophomores Carson Adelberger and Morgan Sinton who each had a goal in the game. Sinton added an assist, as did freshman Carrisa Brown.
Three goalkeepers combined to make four saves in the game. Junior Jackie Branthover and freshman Meaghan Allard each had two in the loss.
Bryant was led by Catlin Brown who had five goals and three assists. Emily Columbus, Caitlin Breglia and Jess Demeo each added three goals. Daja Andrews made six saves for the Bulldogs, all in the second half.
The Blue Devils return to action on the road at LIU Brooklyn on April 13.
