CCSU falls 69-46 to Brown in the second game of a four game homestand
The Central Connecticut women's basketball mounted a fourth quarter rally, but could not overcome the deficit, falling to Brown University 69-46 Monday night at Detrick Gymnasium. The Blue Devils were led by 12 points from Meghan Kenefick and a career-high nine rebounds from Alli Napoli.

- Brown jumped out to an 8-3 lead at the 6:39 mark and maintained that advantage, 10-5, with 5:24 to play in the first quarter

- A Lanpher pull-up jumper with 6:26 to play brought the Blue Devils within 11, 53-42 and capped a 7-3 quarter opening spurt for Central
- The Bears answered with five straight, capped by a three Charlotte Jewell
- A second chance basket from Williams with 4:30 to play momentarily quelled the run that reached 8-2 before a pair of Jenkins free throws with 2:08 to play
