NEC Releases 2020-21 Women's Basketball Preseason Poll
Central picked 10th in NEC Preseason Poll.
The Central Connecticut women's basketball team was chosen 10th in the 2020-21 Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll. The announcement was made on Wednesday during the NEC virtual media day on NEC Frontrow and ESPN3. The preseason All-NEC Team was also selected.

The Blue Devils are coming off a 4-25 season (3-15 NEC), but won their final two games of the season by double digits. CCSU returns three starters from last season. Ashley Berube leads the way after averaging 12.1 PPG and 6.9 REB. Seniors Emma McCamus and Ashley Forker also return to the starting lineup.
Mount St. Mary's was unanimously picked by the coaches as the preseason favorite. The Mount finished in second place last year during the regular season behind Robert Morris.
