Blue Devils Start Three Game Road Series at LIU
Central plays LIU on Monday at 7 p.m.
The Central Connecticut women's basketball teams starts a three-game road series at LIU on Monday, Jan. 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside the Steinberg Wellness Center in Brooklyn, NY and the game will be streamed live on NEC Front Row. The Blue Devils look for their second win of the season and the first win in league play. A win for Central would mark the third straight against the Sharks.

Last Time Out • The Blue Devils dropped their fourth conference game to Merrimack 65-56 on Saturday in New Britain. For the second time this season, Ashley Berube (20 pts, 5 rebs, 3 blks) scored 20+ points for Central. The game was fairly even until the Warriors outscored CCSU 21-14 in the third quarter. Merrimack took advantage of the foul line scoring 8-of-12 fourth quarter points from the charity stripe, while holding to just eight points in the closing quarter. Denia Davis-Stewart (21 pts, 16 rbs, 4 blks) and Kate Mager (24 pts, 3 rebs) combined for 45 of Merrimack's 65 points.
