Bio

Alexis Debrosse has been a volunteer assistant coach of the Central Connecticut softball team since graduating in the spring of 2018. Debrosse played softball at Central for four years.

The New Bedford, MA native played shortstop for the Blue Devils and carried a .460 slugging percentage in her final season. As a freshman, Debrosse made 42 starts in 43 games and was named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week three times. She finished her career with a .263 average and 20 homeruns for 90 RBIs. She also totaled 33 stolen bases and a .447 slugging percentage.

Before Central, Debrosse played softball at New Bedford High School. She was named the Standard Times Softball Player of the Year 2010-12. She was voted the Most Valuable Player at the Peter Looney Tournament in 2011 and 2012. The shortstop was selected to the Boston Herald All-Scholatic Team in 2010-2012.
