CCSU Alumni Association Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2023 Unveiled

Five former student-athletes and a championship coach have been selected for induction into the Central Connecticut State University Alumni Athletics Hall of Fame it was announced Wednesday.  The induction ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, October 5, 2023, as a kickoff to Alumni Weekend.

The men's and women's soccer Academic All-District Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were announced on Tuesday. Central Connecticut was represented by four members of the men's soccer team and six members of the women's soccer squad on the Academic All-District Teams.

The Central Connecticut men's soccer team fell in its season finale to Sacred Heart, 1-0, on Thursday night in Northeast Conference action at New Britain, CT. The Blue Devils were unable to overcome an early goal by the Pioneers.

Men's Soccer Rally Falls Short at St. Francis Brooklyn, 3-2

The Central Connecticut men's soccer team had its second half rally fall short at St. Francis Brooklyn, falling 3-2 on Sunday in Brooklyn Heights, NY. The Blue Devils shutout the Terriers after halftime and made it a one-goal game, but were unable to find the equalizer.

Men's Soccer Earns Draw With Stonehill

The Central Connecticut men's soccer team finished with a 0-0 tie in Northeast Conference action against Stonehill on Sunday at CCSU Soccer Field in New Britain, CT. The Blue Devils honored their class of seniors prior to the contest.

Men's Soccer Stopped at FDU on Thursday Night

The Central Connecticut men's soccer team was unable to overcome a pair of first half goals at FDU, falling 2-0 in Northeast Conference action on Thursday in Teaneck, NJ. The Blue Devils were under pressure for much of the opening half before collecting themselves to mount attacks before halftime, but the Knights maintained their early lead for the win.

The Central Connecticut men's soccer team scored goals on either side of halftime and collected a 2-0 win over Merrimack in Northeast Conference action on Sunday in New Britain, CT. The Blue Devils posted their third multi-goal game of the year and earnedd their first league win of the campaign.
