Men's Soccer Drops Season Opener to Rhode Island
Central Connecticut men's soccer was unable to get past Rhode Island in the season opener on Monday. The Blue Devils fell behind early and ultimately dropped the match 2-0.

KEY MOMENTS
- URI was able to get on the board quickly in Monday's match, scoring in the first seven minutes.
- CCSU was able to subdue the URI offense for the rest of the half thanks in large part to junior goal keeper Jason Dubrovich. Dubrovich recorder four saves in the first half as the Blue Devils headed into half number two down 1-0.
- The Blue Devils were able to create some scoring oppurtunities in the second half, including three corner kicks, but were unable to capitalize on them.
- URI scored the final goal of the game off of a free kick.
