Gannon Earns Men's Soccer All-Region Honors
Junior Sean Gannon of the Central Connecticut men's soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region honors it was announced on Tuesday. Gannon was named to the Second Team. The teams are selected through voting by member coaches.

Gannon, a native of Coventry, CT, captained the Blue Devils and started all seven games. He led the team with seven points and three assists, to go along with a pair of goals. Gannon was 2-for-2 on penalty kicks this season, and he had a pair of games with a goal and an assist (vs. Mount St. Mary's, vs. FDU). Gannon has started all 39 career games at CCSU, while notching four goals and four assists.
CCSU finished the season at 3-3-1 and was in the hunt for a NEC championship game berth until the final game of the campaign. CCSU finished with a win percentage of .500 or better for the first time since 2013 and had four All-NEC honorees following the season.
