KEY MOMENTS

- The Blue Devils would double the lead with just over five minutes to play in the half when freshman Zane Brown sent a low cross from the right wing that found sophomore John Michael Torres in front of the net, who would tap it in to make it 2-0.
- Merrimack cut the CCSU lead in half early in the second half after junior Jason Dubrovic came out to challenge Frantz Pierrot, but committed a foul. Dubrovic went the right direction on the ensuing penalty kick, but Pierrot's shot snuck by him to make it 2-1 at the 52:40 mark. The Blue Devils defense would make the lead stand up and Dubrovic would make one save down the stretch to protect the win.
