Blue Devils officially hold NLI signing to join the men's soccer team.
Central Connecticut men's soccer interim head coach David Kelly announced the addition of Amar'e Freeman, who signed with the Blue Devils through Team Impact on Wednesday October 28, over Zoom. Freeman is 10 years old and is a fifth grade student living in New Britain. He was joined by his family and the CCSU men's soccer team on the Zoom call.
Kelly was excited to add Freeman to the team stating, "There is nothing more important than character and Amar'e has the character we were looking for in a Blue Devil."
When asked about officially joining the program, Freeman had a huge smile on his face and said, "I'm very happy."
