Men's Soccer Slowed at Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday

The Central Connecticut men's soccer team dropped a Northeast Conference game at Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday, 5-1, in a game played at University Stadium in Teaneck, NJ. The Knights used four unanswered goals to pull away after senior Eddie Yepes scored in his third straight game for CCSU to tie the game in the early going. Central returns home on Friday to host Saint Francis U as part of homecoming weekend.

KEY MOMENTS
- CCSU tied the game at 1-1 just 7:15 into the game after forcing a turnover on a failed FDU clearance. Lyons would lay the ball off to Yepes just inside the top of the box, who ripped a shot into the back of the net to make it 1-1.
- The Knights would regain the lead just over 10 minutes later when Diego Arribas scored his second of the game to make it 2-1.
- FDU would score again at 27:13 and 43:06 to add to its lead. Ville Ahola assisted on both goals.
- Fairleigh Dickinson scored just 5:52 into the second half on a shot by Ideal Shefqeti to close out the scoring.
