The Central Connecticut men's soccer team allowed a pair of first half goals and fell to Hartford, 2-0, on Tuesday night at CCSU Soccer Field. The Blue Devils matched the Hawks with seven shots in the game, but were unable to solve the vistors' defense. KEY MOMENTS
- Hartford opened the scoring just 3:52 into the game. Kamer Nuhiu tapped home a pass from Nyrik Antoine off a long ball to make it 1-0.
- The Hawks doubled the lead at the 12:37 mark when Aitor Elena headed home a corner kick from Connor Aksoz to make it 2-0.
- In the 74th minute, sophomore Jason Dubrovich made a point-blank save to keep CCSU within two goals.
- Central had a pair of free kicks just outside the penalty box in the final 10 minutes, but its shots just missed putting CCSU on the scoreboard.
