Amos shot 13-of-16 from the field and 6-of-6 on three pointers. Nigel Scantlebury added 13 points, while Andre Snoddy grabbed 14 rebounds. CCSU shot 29-of-61 (.475) from the field overall and 8-of-15 (.533) from three-point range. Central was 8-of-11 (.727) from the foul line.
The Terriers were led by Tedrick Wilcox, Jr. who had 12 points. St. Francis Brooklyn shot just 17-of-59 (.288) overall and 2-of-15 (.133) from the arc. SFBK was 16-of-19 (.842) from the foul line.

- The Blue Devils raced out of the gates, scoring the first six points of the game. The Terriers would get within 10-9 following a layup by Di'Andre Howell-South, but that was as close as they got all day. Central would outscore SFBK 8-2 during a five-minute stretch to build a 27-18 lead with 3:52 left in the opening half. The Terriers hold the Blue Devils scoreless over the final 2:24 and got within 29-23 at the intermission.
- Central would score 10 unanswered points in the opening minutes of the second half to build a 39-25 lead with 16:51 to play. Amos had seven points in the spurt, including five straight to close it out, the last two coming on a dunk on the fastbreak.
- The Terriers would cut the Blue Devils lead to five points following a run of eight straight points. Rob Higgins had five points, including a three-point play to make it 44-39 with 11:17 remainging.
- CCSU would limit the Terriers to one field goal over the final 7:14 and used a 17-0 run to build a 71-47 lead with 2:36 to play. A three-pointer by Jay Rodgers would make it 74-49 with 1:49 to play and give Central its largest lead of the day.
QUOTABLE
"Defensively, even in the Saint Francis U game, we had a stretch where we played really well," said head coach Patrick Sellers. "In that game it was about 15 minutes, tonight it was a full 40 minutes. When we get clean stops and clean rebounds, it just makes our offense so much better."
