Andre Snoddy Picked to NEC All-Rookie Team
Freshman Andre Snoddy was named to the Northeast Conference All-Rookie Team it was announced by the league office on Tuesday. The awards were announced on the eve of the Northeast Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.

Snoddy led all league freshmen in scoring (8.0 ppg), rebounding (7.0 rpg) and assists (1.5 apg). He was a six-time NEC Rookie of the Week and collected four double-doubles on the season. Snoddy played in 30 games and made 28 starts, while averaging 29.1 minutes per game. He was among the league leaders, shooting .480 from the field. He scored in double-figures 11 times and led the Blue Devils in rebounding in 18 contests. He posted a career-high 18 points and 14 rebounds against FDU on Feb. 5 when he played 45 minutes in an overtime win. He notched his first career double-double on Jan. 15 at LIU when he had 18 points and 10 rebounds.
In addition the three all-conference teams and all-rookie squad, the major award winners were also announced by the league. Bryant, which claimed the league's regular-season crown, was led by the Jim Phelan Coach of the Year (Jared Grasso). Regular season runner-up Wagner was led by Alex Morales, who was named Player of the Year Defensive Player of the Year. Anquan Hill of FDU was named the Rookie of the Year and Josh Cohen of Saint Francis U was tabbed Most Improved Player.
