NEC Basketball Virtual Media Days To Air October 26 & 27 On NEC Front Row & ESPN3
The ceremonious tipoff to the 2021-22 Northeast Conference (NEC) hoops season is upon us.
NEC Basketball Virtual Media Day, presented by Franklin Group, is once again a two-day showcase. The men's show will air on Tuesday, October 26 at 11:00 am with the women following on Wednesday, October 27, also at 11:00 am. The broadcasts will air on both NEC Front Row and ESPN3.

Dave Popkin, Joe DeSantis and NEC insider Ryan Peters will serve as hosts for the men's show, with Craig D'Amico, Pam Roecker and Dan Gardella on the call for the women's broadcast.
Along with each NEC men's and women's basketball head coach, one student-athlete from each team will be interviewed, as will NEC Commissioner Noreen Morris. NEC preseason polls and All-Conference teams will be announced at the top of each show, with special segments throughout incorporated into the telecasts.
Now in its 41st season, the Northeast Conference is an NCAA Division I collegiate athletic association consisting of 10 institutions of higher learning located throughout seven states. Media coverage of the NEC extends to a number of the largest markets in the United States - New York (#1), Boston (#9), Baltimore (#26), Hartford/New Haven (#33) and Providence (#53). Founded in 1981 as the basketball-only ECAC Metro Conference, the NEC has grown to sponsor 24 championship sports for men and women and now enjoys automatic access to 16 different NCAA Championships.
