Baseball Quartet Recognized by NEC; Spizzoucco Named Rookie of the Week
Freshman Vincent Spizzoucco was recognized by the Northeast Conference with weekly rookie honors it was announced Tuesday. Spizzoucco was named Rookie of the Week by the league for the fourth time this season.
The Southington, CT native pitched 6.0 innings scattering five hits and allowing no runs in a start against Merrimack. He struck out seven batters while walking two in an 11-1 win on Friday. Spizzoucco improved to 6-2.

Juniors Dan Covino and Noah Martinez and sophomore Luke Garofalo joined Spizzoucco on the NEC Prime Performers list.
