Sophomore Hunter Pasqualini drew a leadoff walk and would stand on third with two outs. Devito would steal second and an error on the play allowed Pasqualini to cross home. Central would bat around and plate four runs in the second. Devito delivered a two-run single in the inning and junior Dan Covino knocked in a run with a double to help CCSU build a 5-0 cushion.
- The Blue Devils tacked on three runs in the fifth inning. Rios would hit a sacrifice fly to plate freshman Tyler Fote. An error allowed freshman Kyle Gordon to score and make it 7-0 before a bases loaded walk to junior Noah Martinez made it an eight-run game.
- Mozzicato was efficient in his work on the afternoon, not allowing a runner past second base in the first five innings. Wagner managed to solve Mozzicato in the sixth inning with runners on first and second, Cody Bey singled to left to drive in a run, but an inning-ending double play prevented any further blemish.
- Sophomore Michael Torniero singled and scored on a double by Rios in the eighth to close out the scoring in the game. Junior Tim Buchek pitch two hitless innings to close out the CCSU victory.

- Pasqualini drew four walks and scored three runs.
