Stanford dominates field, claims 2017 NCAA title

Stanford wins the 2017 DI Women's Swimming and Diving Championship

Stanford clinched the 2017 DI women's swimming and diving championship in emphatic fashion on Day 4 Saturday, setting a new  NCAA, U.S. Open and American record in the weekend's final event, the 400 free relay.

The Cardinal finished with 526.5 total points to take home the hardware. California (366), Texas A&M (292.5), Georgia (252.5) and Texas (252) rounded out the final top five.
