Bio

Franklin Jennings will be a part of the Central Connecticut baseball staff as an assistant coach for his fourth season in 2022. Jennings played for the Blue Devils from 2014-17, and has been part of three conference titles, winning a league title as a senior in 2017, and again as an assistant coach in 2019 and 2021.

Jennings finished his career sixth on the CCSU all-time list with 37 career stolen bases. As a senior, he earned All-Northeast Conference First Team and Northeast Conference All-Tournament Team honors after helping Central to its fifth conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. In 187 career games, Jennings batted .291 and scored 87 runs with 50 runs batted in.

Following his career at CCSU, Jennings signed with the New York Bucks of the Empire League.
