CCSU Track & Field

The CCSU Track & Field facilities opened for the 2014 outdoor track & field season. The new track features an all-weather, eight-lane NCAA running track constructed around the perimeter of the CCSU Soccer Field. The complex also includes areas for jumping events behind the soccer goal area. The throwing events are held near the CCSU campus on Barbour Road. The facility includes new seating for over 500 fans and features a lofted press box that presides over the field.

The first event held at the new CCSU Track & Field facility was the CCSU Invitational on March 22, 2014. It was the first meet held on campus in New Britain since the early 1970s.
