Women's Cross Country Finishes Eighth at New England Championships

Women's cross country finished eighth at the New England Championships on Sunday, finishing ahead of the three other Northeast Conference schools that competed.
Senior Angie Rafter was the first Blue Devil to cross and finished in the top five.

NOTES
- Angie Rafter did not disapoint on Saturday. The senior finished fifth overall in the women's 5K race with a 17:42.2 time. Rafter boasted a 5:41.9 average mile time against the competition.
- The next Blue Devil to cross was another familiar face for CCSU, junior Ashley Dana. Dana finished at 18:23.2 and had a mile pace of 5:55.
- Brooke Morabito rounds out CCSU's top three finishers. The sophomore had a 18:54.4 finish time on Saturday.
