Central Runs at the ECAC/IC4A Championships
The Blue Devils finished 8th out of 18 teams.
The Central Connecticut women's cross country team ran at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY. CCSU finished 8th out of 18 teams. Sophomore Angie Rafter led the Blue Devil runners, finishing in 16th place out of a field of 153 runners.
The meet completes the Central cross country season.
Rafter completed the three-mile course in a time of 17:30. Classmate Megan Brawner was the next Blue Devil to cross the finish line, completing the course in 17:39.
Senior Dawn Hubbell finished in 18:33 and placed 69th. Sophomore Sabrina Chesters crossed the line at 18:45 in 86th place.
Rounding out the CCSU runners was senior Morgan Ricci with a time of 20:26.
Central completed its cross country season, which the first Northeast Conference Championship since 1999.
