2018 Cross Country Schedule Announced
The Blue Devils will host a pair of meets during the season.
The Central Connecticut men's and women's cross country programs and head coach Eric Blake announced the 2018 schedule on Thursday. The schedule is highlighted by a pair of home meets during the season, leading up to the Northeast Conference Championships.

The Blue Devils will run in the opening meet of the season on Saturday, September 8, at the Bryant Invitational in Smithfield, RI. The meet will give CCSU runners a chance to prepare at the site of this season's Northeast Conference Championships, which will be held at Bryant University on Saturday, Oct. 27.
The 2018 schedule will also be highlighted by the 16th Annual Ted Owen Invitational at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, CT. The first CCSU home meet of the season will take place on Saturday, Sept. 22. The women's race will take place at 11:00 a.m. and the men's race will be at 11:45 a.m.
CCSU will also host the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday, Oct. 19. The women's sub-varsity race will open the day at 3:00 p.m., with the women's varsity runners going at 3:30 p.m. The men's varsity runners will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by the men's sub-varsity race at 4:30 p.m.
The NEC Championships will take place at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI, on Saturday, Oct. 27. The CCSU men's cross country program has won nine consecutive conference titles, which is the most consecutive championships by any school in any sport in league history. The Blue Devils' women's program has placed second as a team each of the past three seasons.
The NCAA Northeast Regionals will take place in Amherst, NY, on Nov. 9.
