Women's Cross Country Competes at Ted Owen Invitational
Blue Devils ran at the 14th Annual Ted Owen Invitational on Saturday, September 24th.
he Central Connecticut women's cross country team hosted the Ted Owen Invitational at Stanley Quarter Park on Saturday in New Britain, CT. Sophomore Madeline Mondo and junior Victoria Cronin led the way for the Blue Devils finishing 27th and 29th, respectively, out of 156 runners.
Mondo led the CCSU runners, turning in a time of 18:46.50. Cronin followed closely, finishing in 18:48.70.
Sophomore Dawn Hubbell was the next Blue Devil across the finish line, placing 33rd with a time of 18:53.1.
Senior Brandy LeClair completed the 5K course in 19:34.7 and placed 73rd. Sophomore Morgan Ricci completed the course in 21:28.10.
The Central women competed against 11 other teams, taking eighth-place overall.
Next up for the Blue Devils is the New England Champhionships at Franklin Park in Boston, MA, on Saturday, October 8th.
