KEY MOMENTS
- Central scored three straight points, including kills by Isabelle Roufs and Mia Lombardo, to take a 6-4 lead in the first set. CCSU would not trail the rest of the way although Stonehill would stay close and draw even at 12-all. The Blue Devils led by as much as 20-13, but would close out the frame on a kill by Lauren Milani to win 25-22.
- The Skyhawks would run out to an early advantage in the second set and let by as much as 10-3 in the early going. CCSU would chip away at the deficit and consecutive kills from Roufs and Lombardo tied the set at 20-20. Stonehill had set point at 24-22, but a kill by Nyjha Marcelin and an ace by Weronika Poczynek would extend the set for Central. A block by Milani and another kill by Marcelin completed the rally to win the set for the Blue Devils.
- In the third set, neither squad would lead by more than three points in the early going. CCSU trailed, 18-15, but would rattle off seven consecutive points. Isabella Bratzke served the run for CCSU and had an ace during the streak. A kill by Milani was followed by a Stonehill error to close out the match.

"Our offense came alive and led us to the win," said head coach Linda Sagnelli. "Tori [Boulay] played one of her best matches and contributed to our success tonight."

NOTES
- CCSU swept the season series from Stonehill in the Skyhawks' first season of NEC play.
- Morgan had a match-high 14 kills, including hitting .833 with five kills in the third set. She added a block assist.
- Roufs had seven kills and two blocks. She hit a perfect 1.000 on four attempts in the opening set.
- Milani finished with nine kills and 11 digs.
- Tori Boulay had 19 assists and five digs directing the CCSU attack. She now has 1,038 assists in her career.
