KEY MOMENTS
- Central would build a lead of 15-11 midway through the opening set after a kill by Nyjha Marcelin. The Terriers would regroup and draw even at 16-all, forcing a CCSU timeout. The Blue Devils would score coming out of the stoppage, but St. Francis responded with six unanswered points to go ahead 22-17 and take the lead for good on the way to taking the opening frame.
- The teams would go back-and-forth in the early stages of the second set. After CCSU was within, 6-5, following a solo block by Mia Lombardo, the Terriers would extend their lead to 13-9 and force a CCSU stoppage. St. Francis scored back to back points out of the timeout to make it 15-9 and would not let the lead go to fewer than five points the rest of the set.
- St. Francis Brooklyn scored the first four points of the third set and led throughout the frame. After Weronika Poczynek broke the Terriers run to open the frame, SFBK would go ahead 6-1 and did not let the lead shrink below three points the rest of the set.
