Vollleyball Ends Regular Season With 3-1 home Victory Over Bryant
Blue Devils will wait for Saturday action in league play to see if they qualify for NEC Toournament
The Central Connecticut women's volleyball team posted a 3-1 home victory in the Northeast Conference finale on Friday night, topping Bryant University to move to 10-6 in league play on the season. The Blue Devils will now sit and wait, as league play finishes on Saturday, to learn their fate for next week's NEC Tournament. A Sacred Heart victory over Bryant will give the Blue Devils a trip to Robert Morris next week for the league's tournament. A Bryant victory knocks out the Blue Devils.
Senior Madelyn Kaprelyan did what she has done her entire career for the Blue Devils. She posted 18 kills, 26 assists and 17 digs to record the triple-double on Senior Night, as CCSU moved to 14-14 overall on the year. Junior Emma Henderson had a match-high 19 kills to lead the offense.

- Both Kaprelyan and senior setter Erin McDermott, playing in their final home matches of their careers, posted 26 assists. CCSU had 58 total assists in the win.

- Kaprelyan's triple-double was her sixth of the season, the third-highest total in the country.
- Junior Ashlyn Eisenga had 17 digs to help pace the Blue Devil defense.
