Volleyball to Host Fall Tune-Up Clinic

The Central Connecticut volleyball program will host a Fall Tune-Up Clinic on August 14. The clinic will be held at Detrick Gymnasium and open to female participants grades 6-12.

The clinic will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will have three courts grouped by age and ability. The clinic will focus on sharpening skills and improving technique with instruction from CCSU head coach Linda Sagnelli and assistant coach Greg Shell.

A special session will run from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for an additional fee. The session will focus on individual floor defense or attacking skills. Athletes must also attend the first session in order to sign up for the special session.

The clinic is limited to the first 45 athletes. The first session is $60/athlete to attend and the special session is an additional $25. Payment is accepted the day of the event only by cash or check payable to Central Connecticut State University.
