Volleyball Plays LIU Brooklyn in NEC Semifinal
The #4 Central Connecticut women's volleyball team will play #1 LIU Brooklyn on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the first of two Northeast Conference Tournament semifinal matches.
The #4 Central Connecticut women's volleyball team will play #1 LIU Brooklyn on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the first of two Northeast Conference Tournament semifinal matches. Both semifinal matches and Sunday's championship match will be played on the campus of LIU Brooklyn.
12 Straight
This is the 12th straight year that CCSU has reached the NEC Volleyball Tournament.
250 for Sagnelli
Head Coach Linda Sagnelli recorded her 250th career victory at CCSU on Sunday at Sacred Heart. Sagnelli has 376 victories total over her collegiate career.

CCSU is 5-7 in three set matches, 1-4 in four set matches and 5-4 in five set contests.
Lommori on the Attack
After injuries shuffled the CCSU lineup, Makenna Lommori moved into a hitting role. Over her next eight matches as a hitter Lommori posted 167 kills or a 5.57 kills per set average.
Against Saint Francis U on Oct. 5 she split time between hitting and setting and produced an incredible 20-kill, 22-assist, 12-dig performance.
Lommori also set a CCSU single-match record with a 35-kill performance in CCSU's epic five set victory over Sacred Heart
CCSU and Sacred Heart
The Blue Devils five set match featured a NCAA record 46-44 fourth set. The match also featured 245 total points between the two squads.
