The Central Connecticut volleyball team will host Fairleigh Dickinson at Detrick Gym on Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m.  The Blue Devils (9-7, 0-2 NEC) and Knights (1-14, 0-2 NEC) are both looking for their first Northeast Conference victory of the season.

Here are some notes on the Blue Devils heading into Saturday's match:

• The Blue Devils posted a 9-5 record in non-conference play this season.  The 14 non-conference matches were highlighted by a tournament victory in the CCSU Invitational.

• Head Coach Linda Sagnelli's squad won the CCSU Invitational with victories over UHart, NJIT and Fordham.  The sweep of the tournament gives CCSU a 3-0 record at home so far this season.

• The Blue Devils had a seven match winning streak earlier this season, which was the program's longest since the 2007 season.
