Women's Track & Field Competes at Day One of the The RU Scarlet Knight Open

The Central Connecticut, women's track and field team competed on day one of the RU Scarlet Open on Friday.

RESULTS

• Tamara Rawles placed 9th in the 400m (58.6)

• Brooke Morabito broke a PR in the mile and placed 5th (4:47.5). 

• Erin Egan finished 9th in the long jump (5.22m).

• Sophomore Marina Perry took 1st place in the weight throw (15.49m).

• Payton Lowe also hit a PR and finished 5th in the weight throw (13.4m).

• The 4x200 Meter Relay team consisting of  Nuchwara Inthasit, Tamara Rawles, Adriana Brathwaite, and Kayla Logan placed 5th (1:44.35). 

The Blue Devils will compete on Saturday, February 3rd in more track and field events on day 2 of the RU Scarlet Knight Open.
