The Central Connecticut women's indoor track team competed in the URI Invitational at the Mackal Field House on Saturday.

CCSU RESULTS

  • Brooke Morabito took first place in the mile (4:53.77) for a third straight meet.
  • Senior Ashley Dana finished in first place (2:18.73) in the 800-meter run.
  • First-year Rachel Bartolucci placed 8th in the 800-meter run (2:26.68).
  • Tamara Rawles finished second in the 400m dash (58.57).
  • Rebecca Carusone ran the 3000-meter run in 10:49.82 to take home 10th place for the Blue Devils.
  • Wenesha Stewart placed 9th in the shot put (11.68m).
  • Abbie Burgess finished 10th in the long jump with a 5.01-meter jump.
  • In the Women's high jump, Alissa Hurd finished 3rd (1.70m).
  • Junior Erin Egan took 6th in the triple jump (10.58m)
