The Blue Devils had six top-ten finishes and one top finisher, Brooke Morabito.

The Central Connecticut women's indoor track team competed in the UMass Flagship Invitational at the New Balance Center in Boston, MA. Sunday.

CCSU RESULTS

  • Brooke Morabito ran a collegiate-best 4:49.16 to take first place in the mile for the second straight meet. 
  • Tamara Rawles ran a 57.94 400m dash to place 9th. 
  • Ashley Dana took 4th place in the 1000m with a time of 2:52.63. 
  • The Blue Devils 4x400m relay team consisting of Tamara Rawles, Kayla Logan, Ashley Dana, and Rachel Bartolucci took 9th place. 
  • Alissa Hurd competed in the long jump and placed fourth with a 1.65m (5' 5") leap. 
  • Marina Perry finished 7th in the shot put with a collegiate-best throw of 12.23m (40' 1.5"). 

The Blue Devils are back in action on January 20 at the URI Invitational.
