Track and Field Kicks Off the Outdoor Season

CCSU track and field opened their outdoor season today at day one of the Raleigh Relay’s meet hosted by North Carolina State University.

CCSU track and field opened their outdoor season today at day one of the Raleigh Relay's meet hosted by North Carolina State University. The meet is taking place at the Paul Derr Track and Field Facility in Raleigh, NC.  

  • Logan Ratcliff took fourth in the javelin throw, breaking the program record with a personal best toss of 67.13m. 

  • Jake Ireland and James Sullivan both competed in the men's 1,500m race. Ireland notched a new personal best time of 3:50.19, while Sullivan finished in 3:59.01. 

  • Brooke Morabito ran in the women's 10,000m race, crossing the finish line in 35:21.87 (a new personal best).
