Members of the CCSU women's track and field team competed today at day one of the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships hosted by Boston University in Boston, MA.

Members of the CCSU women's track and field team competed today at day one of the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships hosted by Boston University in Boston, MA. Ashley Dana got the Blue Devils off to a hot start, breaking her own school record in the 1000m run. 

  • Dana broke her own school record in the 1000m race this afternoon. She finished second in prelims, crossing the finish line in 2:48.28. 

  • Brooke Morabito ran the 5,000m race in a time of 16:47.78, good for third place. 

  • Alissa Hurd competed in the high jump, leaping for 1.60m, securing the 12th-place spot. 

  • Kalesha Darisme ran in the 60m dash prelim, placing 28th with a time of 7.94.  

  • Magnalen Camara took 21st in the 200m dash prelim race (25.13). 

  • Kamilah Diaz placed 20th in the 500m race prelim with a time of 1:25.85. 

  • Angie Rafter finished second in the 3000m race in prelims (4:53.39)
