Rafter and Hurd Represent Women's Track and Field in NEC Weekly Awards

After their impressive performances at the Ramapo College Opener in New York, NY on Friday, Angie Rafter and Alissa Hurd were selected as Athletes of the Week by the Northeast Conference.   

Rafter earned her fourth Track Athlete of the Week award this season after winning the mile and breaking her own school record with a time of 4:43.78.   

Hurd collected her second Field Athlete of the Week award following her second-place finish in the high jump, going for 1.65m   

Rafter and Hurd were also named Prime Performers alongside teammates Ashley Dana and Brooke Morabito.  

Dana took first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:14.99 shortly after pacing Rafter to a school record in the mile.  

Morabito snagged second place in the mile with a time of 4:58.88 

The Blue Devils will be back in action on Saturday, January 28th at the Boston University Terrier Invite.
