Morabito Earns Win at Day One of New England Championships

Central Connecticut State track and field opened competition at the New England Championships on Friday with a strong showing, as sophomore Brooke Morabito took home a gold medal.

KEY PERFORMANCES

  • 10,000m - Morabito had the winning time in the 10K, finishing first with a time of 36:57.68. Teammate, senior Kaitlyn Stevens was not far behind her, finishing sixth in 38:57.03.
