Rafter Earns Second Athlete of the Week of Outdoor Season

Central Connecticut State track and field's Angie Rafter earned an Athlete of the Week award from the Northeast Conference after a record setting performance at the Bucknell Bison Classic Friday. This is Rafter's second outdoor Athlete of the Week award, which adds to the four that the senior won during the indoor season.

Rafter set a CCSU record in the 10,000m race Friday, finishing in 34:01.76, about 25 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.

Rafter and the rest of CCSU track and field will be traveling to Boston this weekend to compete in the Jay Carisella Coaches Invite
