Hurd Earns Rookie of the Week Nod

Central Connecticut State track and field's Alissa Hurd earned her second Rookie of the Week nomination Tuesday after an impressive performance at the Wilton Wright Invitational this past weekend. 

Hurd placed first in the women's high jump with a 1.65m jump. The freshman went on to place fourth in the 400 meter hurdle race and sixth in the 100 meter hurdle race.
