Women's Track & Field Grabs First at Black & Gold Invite
Women's Track and Field earned a number of top five finished at the Black & Gold Invite in Rhode Island, including a first place finish from Rebecca Carusone.
Rebecca Carusone won a gold for the Blue Devils in the 5000 meter race, finishing in 18:44.49. Kayla Cohen was right behind her at 18:54.79.
Ashley Dana earned a second place finish for the Blue Devils in the 1500 meter race with a 4:34.36 finish time. Brooke Morabito was right behind her in sixth, finishing at 4:48.63.
Magnalen Camara finished third in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:03.82.
Alissa Hurd had another third place finish for CCSU in the high jump, going for 1.59 meters.
Dana also finished sixth in the 800 meter race with a 2:16.15 finish time.
Livvy Pizzitola finished seventh in the 100 meter race with a 12.71 finish. Kaylia Bailey was behind her in 12th at 13.01.
Bailey finished 14th in the 200 meter race at 26.76.
Aaliyah Walker finished fourth in the 400 meter race at 1:03.10.
