Brawner, Rafter Break School Records at Day Two of the IC4A/ECAC Championships
All four members of the women's track and field team will advance to the finals tomorrow.
Four members of the Central Connecticut women's indoor track and field team competed at the IC4A/ECAC Championship on Saturday, March 7. All four ladies advanced to the finals of their respective events and will compete tomorrow at the final day of the meet.
Senior Megan Brawner and junior Angie Rafter set two new program records during the preliminary rounds in the one mile and 800 meter run.

KEY PERFORMANCES | RESULTS
- Megan Brawner broke the school record in the one mile run. She had the fourth best time in the preliminary round with a time of 4:49.55 and will compete in the finals at 11:45 a.m. tomorrow.
- Angie Rafter set a new program record in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:10.45. She posted the fifth best time in the preliminary round qualifying for the finals tomorrow at 12:20 p.m.
- Ashley Dana advanced to the finals in the 1,000 meter run after posting a personal best time of 2:52.73 in the preliminary round.
- Hailey Rospierski competed in the 60 meter high hurdles posting a time of 8.90 in the prelim round to advance to the finals.

All four Blue Devils will compete in the finals of their respective events on Sunday, March 8.
